Response has been overwhelming. And we've seen some really amazing people with amazing talent. Many people we want to see but are not able to due to our really short production timeline. Nevertheless... Thank you for making contact. Thank you for the support. We look forward to possibly working with you again in future.

Taking the first step forward...

Greetings... fellow people and all Dreammakers of V1K1 - A Techno Fairytale.

I am Austin, your cool & friendly crew member from the Publicity Team and I would like to give you a head start of what's happening and what's NEW?! of this big project that we are doing.

Well, first off. We call ourselves, Dreammakers, people with dreams yet to realized, play on the word 'Filmmakers'. We are active! Passionate! Excited! and people who dare to dream and desire to make this film a success!

By taking the first step forward. We had weekly pre-production meetings, gathering of all our crew to plan ahead before we go into action! Just last Tuesday, on the 9th of March 2010, we had our third meeting together at the Production Studio with a beautiful and creative lady, Samantha Sng. Well, what can I say... We are soon to be ready! Planning ahead is very important for us before we have our shooting plans.

So whose involved?

Year 1s and 2s students of DAVP from ITE College West . Richard Chen, Samantha Sng and of course... Our director, Tzang Merwyn Tong.

Dreammakers consist of five departments. Pre-Production, Publicity, Filming Crew, Art Department and Post Production

Pre-Production. We are people who make sure things are going according to plan, planning schedules, choosing up locations of where to shoot, etc.

For Publicity. Basically, we are the people whose doing all the behind-the-scenes, documentations... Boosting our morale of our team!

Filming Crew. Of course, how can we make a film without camera men?! Their job, cameras! Sound! Lightings! "3, 2, 1... Action!!!"

Art Department. Costumes, props and more props! A character needs a costume to identify who they are. Make-ups & costumes for our actors/actresses, they are always ready to take that!

Post Production. They are the ones doing editing and sound design. Any cool and special effects, video editing, that need to be done?! They are the right people to approach to!

Everything is really coming together. Sooner or later, you'll see our film up, in success! But, more on that in future posts...

A challenging dialogue-driven psychological thriller , looking for actors - preferably with film / theatre experience + good command of English.

its still very much an indie-film.

Able to handle action & dialogue.

DONKEY
Dark, Challenging non-speaking role.
Ideal for dancers or experimental theatre
practitioners.

OBERON
God-like supernatural being
(Father-like age)
Tall. Gentlemanly. Speaks well.

THE OTHERS
Various alien beings. Weird Characters.
Cameo-type appearances.

This is a Project Initiative by ITE College West's Digital Audio Video Production (DAVP) Department. Actors will be paid according to experience.

Shoot Date: March/April 2010 Commitment:

6-7 days shoot (not inclusive of rehearsals)
